The lotion base, enriched with emollients, is perfect for producing a high-quality, light-textured lotion that leaves the skin feeling soft. This base is easy to process and allows for COSMOS and RSPO certification, vegan and cruelty-free claims. This product can be further personalised by adding up to 0.5% organic essential oils.

Suitable for all skin types, this incredible foundation is enriched with nourishing emollients to leave your skin hydrated and silky smooth. With a neutral pH of 5, this gentle and nourishing base is enriched with Aloe Vera, which nourishes and moisturises your skin for a silky smooth finish.

Application of lotion-based C-MB to the final product:

1. Add the lotion base C-MB to a sterilised container with a suitable stirrer (preferably with adjustable speed), lid and preferably a heater.

Please note: The best mixer is likely to have large blades that come close to the edge of the bowl walls. A small screw agitator in the middle of the bowl may not be sufficient on its own.

1. Slowly warm the lotion base C-MB to between 38 and 400C by switching on the mixer. Add organic essential oils as needed (usually 0.2-0.5%). Stir for 15-30 minutes or until all the oils have completely dissipated.
2. Pour into the required containers.
3. Take a sample for microbiological testing before and after filling.

1. Like all water-based personal care products, C-MB lotion base is susceptible to microbial contamination, even if it has successfully passed preservative microbial contamination tests. Good hygiene and good manufacturing practices must always be observed when using this product.
2. Like all other lotions, your preparations should first undergo stability tests and microbial preservative resistance tests before they are manufactured.
