Extracts are the natural products of plants and plant parts, obtained by immersing plants or plant parts in solvents. The solvents are of plant origin: glycerine, ethanol, water. Dry extracts are obtained using CO2 gas in the liquid phase. The extracts are suitable for both functional use and ethnic use, e.g. vegans, vegetarians. The extracts are used for external use and are suitable both pure and as a component of cosmetics. Cosmetic products containing plant extracts have natural therapeutic and functional properties.
