Pearlescent pigments create a myriad of visual effects that catch your eye and give unparalleled elegance to surface coatings and paint products. Our extensive range includes more than 100 natural mica-based pearlescent pigments that add a luxurious touch to coatings and paints. The characteristic pearlescent lustre has been developed to match the unique lustre of natural pearls. The basic structure is a mica plate coated with metal oxide. The pearlescent shades resulting from the patterns of reflected, refracted and transmitted light created at the interfaces of the multiple layers provide unparalleled brightness and color play. The mica used as the main raw material for this product line is mined responsibly. In order to continue to create a more ethical, traceable and environmentally friendly mica chain, the manufacturer is a member of the Responsible Mica Initiative (RMI). The pigment meets all regulatory requirements and is UV, high temperature and solvent resistant.

In paint industry the pigment is used in all types of paint base. It is important to take into account that the pigment is powder based, so that in some systems where there are fewer binders and poorer mixing, there may be chunks. It is also used in the preparation of printing inks. Use: mix thoroughly (well) with the ink. Color intensity depends on the ratio of dye to pigment. Attention: The shades obtained may vary depending on the type and quality of the dye used. The colors displayed on the screen may differ from the colors of the mixed paints. It is always recommended to test the suitability of a color on a small area.

In cosmetics, the pigment is used for coloring a wide range of cosmetic products, for the coloring of transparent and opaque glycerin soaps and other cosmetics. It does not irritate the skin. The colors can be mixed together, e.g. mixing yellow with blue gives various shades of green, blue with fluorescein, various shades of electric green.

In schools, pigments are used in various experiments, e.g. in biology to color flower blossoms blue, yellow or red. In chemistry, pigments are used in PAM demonstrations, comparative spectrometry analysis, and various imaging experiments. In physics, pigments are used to better represent the mixing and stirring of liquids, e.g. The movement of Brownian motion in liquids.

In the heating/refrigeration industry, pigments are used in cooling systems to help distinguish where there is a leak in the heat transfer fluid and where there is simply condensation. The most commonly used colors are blue and fluorescent yellow, red, green. The fluorescent colors make it easy to identify leaks even in low-light areas.
