An essence or fragrance (fragrance concentrate) is used to give products a particular smell. It is commonly used in cosmetics, aromatherapy, scented candles, car fragrances, etc. It should be noted that essences are concentrated and have a strong odour, which may cause sensitisation of the sense of smell, alteration of the perception of the scent and changes in the pleasantness of the scent, and it is therefore recommended not to use too much.

The recommended content in wax is 0.5%, the maximum is 5% (vegetable or paraffin)

Recommended content in home fragrances - 1%, maximum 10%.

Conforms to IFRA standards and REACH regulation and no products and their packaging contain substances that have been published by the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) in the updated SVHC Candidate List (Substances of Very High Concern) as of 07.07.2019 (https: // echa .europa.eu/en/candidate-list-table)
