In the paint industry the pigment is used for all types of paint base. When using pigment, it is important to take into account that it is powder-based, so that in some systems with fewer binders and poorer mixing, it may result in loose pieces. It is also used in the preparation of printing inks, for the coloring of food raw materials (during pickling, fertilizer coloring). Can be used in the coloring of concrete products to produce blue products. Use: mix thoroughly (well) with the paint. The intensity of the color depends on the ratio of dye to pigment. Attention: The shades obtained may vary depending on the type and quality of the paint used. The colors displayed on the screen may differ from the colors of the mixed paints. It is always recommended to test the suitability of a color on a small area.

In cosmetics, the pigment is used for coloring a wide range of cosmetic products, for the coloring of transparent and opaque glycerin soaps and other cosmetics. It does not irritate the skin. The colors can be mixed together, e.g. mixing yellow with blue gives various shades of green, blue with fluorescein, various shades of electric green. Recommended quantities: soap - max 1%. Cosmetic products - 0.1 to 20%

In schools, pigments are used in various experiments, e.g. in biology to color flower blossoms blue, yellow or red. In chemistry, pigments are used in PAM demonstrations, comparative spectrometry analysis, and various imaging experiments. In physics, pigments are used to better represent the mixing and stirring of liquids, e.g. The movement of Brownian motion in liquids.

In the construction industry, pigments are used in the coloring of concrete, plaster, cement products, in the tinting of plastic parts, in the pigmentation of various coatings for both technical and aesthetic applications.
