Corrosion Inhibitor G12+ is a water-based, highly effective corrosion inhibitor concentrate for the preparation of high performance engine, coolant, heating fluid mixtures based on monoethylene glycol (MEG) or propylene glycol (PG). This additive package is based on Organic Acid Technology (OAT) to produce a durable cooling or heating solution free of nitrites, amines, phosphates, borax, silicates and 2-ethylhexanoate.
Mixing instructions: For concentrated coolants, the recommended dosage rate is 8%. For the production of ready-to-use solutions, a proportionally lower rate is recommended. Coloring agents may be added to the mixture according to color or customer preference. The final coolant solution can be prepared using at least 25% of this concentrate diluted with deionized (distilled) water.
Product features:
- Extended corrosion protection.
- Reliable protection for a wide range of metals including aluminum, copper, iron and solder alloys.
- Works well even on vulnerable cooling components such as thermostats, radiators and water pumps.
- High corrosion resistance of aluminum even at high temperatures.
- Excellent protection against cavitation.
- Improved stability in hard water (phosphate and silicate free).
- High resistance to foaming.
- Environmentally friendly.
- Safer for human health, no borates, no nitrites and no 2-ethylhexanoate
- Complies with most European and international standards.
Corrosion inhibitor G12+ can also be mixed with the appropriate amount of glycol, water or alcohol to be used as:
- Heat transfer fluid for geothermal systems;
- heat transfer fluid for solar cells;
- coolant/antifreeze for industrial machinery;
- hot washing of engine blocks and all cooling systems.
