"Duopon BCN-NF K is an effective non-foaming washing, cooking and degreasing agent widely used in pre-treatment and downstream textile processing. It is also an excellent starting base for the preparation of non-foaming liquid detergents for industrial and domestic laundry use, as well as for hard surface cleaners and degreasers. DUOPON BCN-NF K is a non-foaming blend of non-ionic surfactants with the addition of high boiling, non-toxic, non-halogenated organic solvents.

PRODUCT PROPERTIES

• is soluble in cold water in any proportion to form stable opaque or turbid solutions
• stable in all acidic, alkaline, reducing and oxidising media and in hard water
• does not foam, especially at high temperatures
• high washing, emulsifying and dispersing properties, especially in alkaline environments
• degreasing effect enhanced by the presence of non-halogenated solvents
• stable even when boiling at high temperatures
• has no affinity for fibre and can be easily washed off
• compatible with most modifying agents
• readily biodegradable in waste water

DUOPON BCN-NF K is a high performance washing, degreasing and cooking agent that is non-foaming and The product is also suitable for the detergent and paper industry and in general for all applications where heavy soiling needs to be removed and where foaming is not desirable, e.g. disinfectants.

Recommended dilution

The initial solution of the product is prepared by adding DUOPON BCN-NF K to lukewarm water with continuous stirring. It can also be gradually added directly into the bath with constant stirring.

Washing of wool, cotton and synthetic felt in the paper industry

Depending on the degree and nature of soiling and the temperature of the bath, add 3-10 g/l DUOPON BCN-NF K.

Component in the manufacture of non-foaming disinfectants

The ratio of DUOPON BCN-NF K for cleaning and washing to the disinfectant component (usually hypochlorite, dichlorointrichloroisocyanuric acid or other disinfectant concentrate) should be adjusted according to the predominant purpose (washing x cleaning x washing x disinfecting). We recommend to dilute first (DUOPON BCN-NF K to a 10-30 % solution in lukewarm water) and then mix the other components together.

In the textile industry. DUOPON BCN-NF K is used as a non-foaming detergent or as a component of a detergent or rinse liquid with high washing, emulsifying and dispersing power. It is exceptionally suitable for fast circulation and jet machines. Excellent for rinsing softeners. The product has a wide range of applications in textile pre-treatment and post-treatment where washing of fibres or removal of dye residues is required.

In the metalworking industry, the product is used to degrease and wash the metal surface before further metal processing. It is well suited for powder coating processes where a clean painted surface is essential.
