Crystal JS (Jelly Soap Base) is a unique and innovative new soap base. "Crystal JS melt and pour soap base is vegetable based and is used to make a variety of jelly soap products. This soap base is used to produce high quality translucent soap bars with a unique jelly consistency. An ideal starting point for creating handmade soaps, to create a range of beautiful products. Simply combine colours and scents to customise your soaps.

In Melt and Pour cosmetics, CRYSTAL JS is a soap base that has no alcohol or harmful products that would dry out your skin. Glycerin, a natural emollient, absorbs moisture from the air and is beneficial for skin health. It cleanses without damaging or disturbing the delicate natural pH balance essential for soft and healthy skin. Because no animal fats are used, the soap rinses clean and leaves no soap film. Good moisturising properties are provided by a high glycerine content and carrageenan, which gives a pleasant skin feel, pH 6,8-8,0.

INCI list of ingredients:

• Glycerin 25 ‐ 50%
• Aqua 25 – 50%
• Sodium Laureth Sulfate 5 – 10%
• Chondrus Crispus Powder (Carrageenan) 5 – 10%
• Phenoxyethanol 0.5 – 1%
• Pentasodium Pentetate <0.1%
• Tetrasodium Etidronate <0.1%

Use: Best „Crystal Jelly Soap“ soap results

1. Remove Crystal JS from the container
2. Cutting the soap into smaller pieces can help the melting process.
3. Place the jelly soap in a saucepan over low heat.
4. DO NOT. Air bubbles will form when stirring.
5. Allow the jelly soap to dissolve by heating to approximately 65°C.
6. Add the colour and flavourings; stir slowly to mix the colour and flavourings.
7. Allow the soap to heat to 70-75°C without stirring.
8. Keep on low heat; do not rush the heating process.
9. Once the jelly has heated up to 70-75°C, it can be poured. Be sure to pour slowly, otherwise air bubbles will form. Jelly soap can be poured into moulds, baths or layered with other soap bases.
