A pigment used in water-basedpaints. Application: mix thoroughly (well) with the paint. The intensity of the colour depends on the ratio of dye to pigment. Please note: The resulting shades may vary depending on the type and quality of paint used. The colours you see on the screen may differ from the colours of the mixed paints. It is always recommended to test the suitability of a colour on a small area.

In cosmetics, the pigment is used for the colouring of various cosmetic products, for the colouring of clear and matt glycerine soaps and other cosmetics. It does not irritate the skin. Colours can be mixed together, e.g. mixing yellow with blue produces various shades of green, blue with fluosensin, various shades of electric green.

In schools, pigments are used in various experiments, e.g. in biology to colour flower blossoms blue, yellow or red. In chemistry, pigments are used in PAM demonstrations, comparative spectrometry analysis, and various imaging experiments. In physics, pigments are used to better represent the mixing and agitation of liquids, e.g.Brownianmotion in liquids.

In theheating/coolingindustry, pigments are used in cooling systems to make it easier to distinguish where there is a leak in the heat transfer fluid and where there is simply condensation. The most commonly used colours are blue and fluorescent yellow, red, green. The fluorescent colours make it easy to identify leaks even in low-light areas.

In the marine sectorfluorescein is used as a marker that produces a bright green colour when in contact with water, making it easier for search teams to find drowning victims.
